Busy day

Brielle rolled over for the first time today!! I knew she could do it for a while but just needed time. Also, I busted out the jumping swing and she loved it!!! She is ready for bed early tonight. Big, busy day for a 3 month old.

been so long...

Sorry I have not posted anything in a long time... Needless to say I have been busy with baby Brielle. Not to mention, I am not sure any one is even reading this.

Life with a newborn is interesting. But even more challenging is having Carson. He has been a great big brother but still find it hard going places with the 2 of them by myself. I know it will get better once Brie is on a schedule. So wish me luck and I will try to post more.

Finally we have our complete family. On April 17, 2012 our beautiful baby girl, Brielle Lynn Townsend arrived. 6lbs 2oz 17.5 inches (hospital said 19.5 but was wrong :) She came into this world at 3:58am. Apparently she didn't know mommy was not an night owl, but I can not complain. The delivery was fast, in fact I almost didn't have time to get the epiduarl. After I was "sticked" I was already 10 centimeters!!!

She has been home for 6 days now and sleeps very well and nursing great. We are very blessed.

Girl!!!

I have always wanted a little girl... now I am getting one. I have loved being a boy Mommy and I must admit I am a little worried about being a girl Mommy. I am not a very girly girl. I don't wear lipstick and I hardly paint my nails.

Will she look like daddy or mommy? What name should we give her? Will she be strong and independent? There seems to be more things to worry about with a girl then a boy.

In the end, we now have our perfect little family and I know Carson will be a good big brother. Nobody better mess with his little sister.

Adding to our family

I am happy to announce that the Townsend Family is adding to their family. Coming soon sometime in April.
