Brielle is here!!

Finally we have our complete family. On April 17, 2012 our beautiful baby girl, Brielle Lynn Townsend arrived. 6lbs 2oz 17.5 inches (hospital said 19.5 but was wrong :) She came into this world at 3:58am. Apparently she didn't know mommy was not an night owl, but I can not complain. The delivery was fast, in fact I almost didn't have time to get the epiduarl. After I was "sticked" I was already 10 centimeters!!!

She has been home for 6 days now and sleeps very well and nursing great. We are very blessed.

Girl!!!

I have always wanted a little girl... now I am getting one. I have loved being a boy Mommy and I must admit I am a little worried about being a girl Mommy. I am not a very girly girl. I don't wear lipstick and I hardly paint my nails.

Will she look like daddy or mommy? What name should we give her? Will she be strong and independent? There seems to be more things to worry about with a girl then a boy.

In the end, we now have our perfect little family and I know Carson will be a good big brother. Nobody better mess with his little sister.

Adding to our family

I am happy to announce that the Townsend Family is adding to their family. Coming soon sometime in April.

pneumonia

Carson has been sick since last Thursday. On Tuesday I took him to the doctors and they did a chest x-ray ( he did great by the way ). Pneumonia...

It has been an interesting last couple of days. He hated the antibiotics so we had to hold him down and force him to swallow. Not my favorite part of being a parent. Next came the vomit from the medicine. Then the diarrhea. He isn't eating much or drinking much. But he acts like nothing is wrong. He is such a trooper.

Who gets pneumonia in the summer!!!

Anyways, we got a different medicine, one that Carson can tolerate. So far so good.

I sure hope we can fun this weekend, after all it is summer.

Finally

Ryan and I have been talking about getting a king size bed for years. Sunday we finally did it! And wow is it nice :) Our kids (Carson and Kandern) have trouble getting on the bed since we got a pillow top mattress so now it's 6 feet tall. Could I get stairs for my bed for a Rottweiler without being judge? Do they even make stairs strong enough to hold a 130 pound dog?

Well, in the mean time Ryan and I will enjoy the extra space to ourselves.

My friend jacob came over and I gave him a ride in my sports car. We are going to get some hot babes when we are older.
