Merry Christmas

Wow what a busy 2 days. We were in Michigan at my Uncles on Christmas Eve, then drove back to Cleveland that night. Christmas day we opened presents at home, then went to Whitehouse to visit the Haywards then to Ryan's aunt house in Lindsey Ohio. We drove back home that night as well. Lots of driving (8-10 Hours). Needless to say Saturday and Sunday we stayed home pretty much all day. Thank God Christmas fell on a Friday so we had Sat & Sun to recoup.

Carson got way too much. I fear for his birthday which is right around the corner. I have no more room for more toys. Maybe everyone can get him a book. he loves them the most anyways...

Merry Christmas

Well, this past Saturday we had our annual Christmas party at the Townsend's house. I believe everyone had a good time. Unfortunately, there were people who could not attend which left more food and drinks for us! But seriously it would have been nice if we could have shared it with more friends. We played Trivial Pursuit (more like Suzanne and Fitz and we put our two cents in every now and then). Wii is always fun when drinking. Carson and his BFF (Jacob) got to play together too. All in all it was a great time.

I must say we have good friends.

On Saturday Grandma and Carson decorated Christmas cookies. Carson made a mess but not as bad as I thought. He has had lots of practice at school with glitter and such. Enjoy the photos!

Bad Influence

We got back from Thanksgiving in Florida. I must say it is the BEST! It was nice to have warm weather for Thanksgiving AND my birthday but Christmas is always best with snow. We were all over Florida, visiting all the relatives we have done there. Lets just say we have more in Florida than we do in Ohio.

When we were at my parents house, my mother thought we should teach Carson how to squirt the hose. Here is video of that.

Happy Halloween

I know it's a few days late but here are some photos from Halloween. Carson helped pass out candy, but was mot too happy about giving his candy away.

CIRCUS!

Today the family went to the circus. Carson had so much fun. He loved the elephants and tigers. Thankfully we stayed in a suite otherwise Carson would of been a pain. This way he was able to run around and dance. It was so cute. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera. 

On Saturday we went to Toledo for some Professional photos and visit with friends and family. All and all it was a good weekend. Not for football though...yikes!

Great Weekend!

I know it is Wednesday and all but I wanted to mentioned what a great weekend we had. Phil came to visit along with "most" of the gang...The kids really like Phil and he was getting some kid practice in. Unfortunately, he was dealing with to little angels and had no problems, just kiddin. We should get together more often. Can't wait to meet little Hoover. :)

Boo

We went to Boo at the Zoo last night. It was cold and wet...but that did not stop me from getting my groove on. Grrrrr.

Happy Anniversary!

On Friday, Ryan and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary! It still amazes me that it's been 5 years (not really since we been together a whopping 12 years). As I look at my life today I am truly happy. I love my husband. I love our child. I love our house, my dog, my family and all the friends we have. Money does not by happiness. Happiness is created by surrounding yourself with people that make you happy.

Speaking of good friends...

I would like to thank Anna again for coming to Cleveland to watch Carson so Ryan and I could go out to dinner on Saturday. Our regular babysitter is 9 months pregnant. We dinned at XO – Very good.

Stinky feet

As you can see Ryan and I are busy teaching Carson the important things in life...putting on your socks and of course that your sock STINK! Which of course they do. He's a boy. They all smell :)

Airshow

On Monday we went to the airshow. It was nice but expensive. Was it worth the money, I don't know but Carson liked it. Next year he'll appreciate it more. Ryan had lots of fun...

Touchdown!

Football season has arrived! LOVE IT! Carson knows Touchdown and he raises his arms in the air and can say "Touchdown". We had to do that a lot the other day when we were watching Mommy's favorite team.

Hangover

Too old to drink anymore...

I got (and I quote Ryan) staggering drunk at Ryan's party on Saturday. Needless to say I had a hang over all day on Sunday. I now know why I don’t drink that much any more. I don’t think I drank “that much” but I think the order in which I did played a part. 2 glasses of wine, 2 Good beers, a shot of vodka (oh I see where it happened) and then another glass of wine. I am too old for that.

Today is Ryan's 30th Birthday!

I want to say I love you and hope you are having a good day. This past Saturday, I threw Ryan a surprise party. It was great! The look on his face. Thank you to all who were able to come out and join in the celebration. I can't thank you enough. A special thanks to my Mom, Adria, the Kings, Fitz, Suzanne and Telly for coming over early to help setup.

Carson went for his 18 month check up at the doctors today. My baby is growing up so fast! He is a blast these days and I am lovin' every minute, expect when he wants something and he can't communicate it to me, but other than that, Perfect.

Kindness of strangers...

As many of you know I drink Chai tea beverages from Starbucks almost everyday. This morning being Monday and all I had a hard time leaving the house, with the kid clinging onto me and Ryan not feeling well, I left the house in disarray. When I was at the counter at Starbucks I noticed my wallet was not in my purse, sadly I told the cashier that I don't have my wallet, and as I started to walk away...a gentleman behind me placed $5 onto counter for my drink. I tried to give it back to him but he insisted.

I don't know what to say. I was so grateful. Needless to say, my Monday took a 180 after my Starbucks visit. Thanks stranger, you made my day. 

Great Weekend!

I am so happy, another great weekend with family and friends. Even with Carson under the weather we managed to go to the zoo and have people over to eat on our new deck. I am very :)

Ryan's brother came with us to the lake for the 1st time and he had a great time...I think. It is impossible not to have a good time. There were a lot of good quotes said that weekend but my favorite is: Courtney- Brandon are you have fun doing nothing at all? Brandon- well it's more than just nothing...is a cool kind of nothing. LOVE IT.

Along with relaxing comes some adventure. I partook in some kayaking. I must say I really enjoyed it, but my travel friend (SUZANNE) wanted to go all the way to the BIG house. I just couldn't, I still have blisters on my hands and that was Friday! Anyway I will do it again...with her too :) Anyways...here is Ryan and friend skiing.

The Townsends...

Every year for the 4th of July we travel north to Michigan (where the best football team is) to Grass lake for some relaxing, boating, drinking and sunning. Ah...why does it have to end?
